I love spice shops. I go in whenever I see one just to smell the different spices all mixing together. It is hard for me to leave without picking up a bag of smoked ancho, or whole star anise. I am particularly drawn to the different salts. Salt, as I knew it, was simple – straight forward. But come to find out there’s such a thing as pink salt! Or even black salt! Imagine my surprise and delight when this Salt Blend showed up on our door step. The earthy Porcini! The mellow Sagemary! The exotic Vanilla!
